In short
Choose a blood test, and a qualified healthcare professional visits your home in or around Dartford to take the sample. It is analysed by partner laboratory, and you receive your results to keep and to share with your GP. A blood test gives you information about your health; it is not a diagnosis, and if a result needs medical attention we will always point you to your GP.
Tests we can arrange
The final list of panels is being confirmed. As a guide, these are the kinds of test we expect to offer:
- General health check: a broad panel covering things like blood count, liver and kidney function, and cholesterol
- Vitamins and minerals: for example vitamin D, B12, folate and iron stores
- Thyroid function
- Hormone panels for men and for women
- Single tests on request, where the laboratory offers them
Your results
Results are returned by partner laboratory, usually within X working days of the sample reaching them. Confirm whether results include a written comment from a doctor. We never interpret results as a diagnosis. If anything is outside the normal range, the right next step is a conversation with your GP, and we will say so plainly.
Why have the sample taken at home
No travelling, no waiting room, and none of the frustration of a finger-prick kit that turns out to have too little blood to test.

Who it may not be suitable for
This is not a complete list. We check suitability at your consultation and will tell you if a treatment is not right for you.
- A private blood test does not replace seeing your GP if you feel unwell; if you have urgent symptoms call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency
- Some medicines and supplements affect results; tell us what you take when you book
Blood Tests: common questions
Do I need to fast before my blood test?
Only some tests need fasting, such as certain cholesterol and glucose tests. We will tell you when you book.
Will my GP see my results?
Not automatically. Your results are yours, and you can share them with your GP if you want to.
Which laboratory do you use?
Samples are analysed by partner laboratory and its accreditation.
